“A person's a person. No matter how small." ― Dr. SeussOne of my twins was diagnosed with DWARFISM at birth. As a single working mother, this was a very hard time during her early years. I didn't know much about dwarfism. Then we joined the Little People of America (LPA) Organization. They were so much help. To start off, we received a second medical opinion, where shee needed surgery. The community is lovely and the people you meet are like my second family. I have learnt so much through them.I wanted to give back but as a single working mom, the funds weren't there. Every October, I went to my children's schools and brought in speakers, who were little people (LP) to spread awareness. I even had pens and bracelets to give. But I didn't have funds to directly give to the LPA Organization
